This product belongs to our hydrogel film series with self-healing scratch repair capabilities. Its performance surpasses that of the tempered glass screen protectors we currently sell, offering better self-repair of minor scratches and superior fit. However, compared to the simple, self-aligning application of tempered glass protectors, this process is relatively more complex. We provide the following instructions and have also included a YouTube video tutorial on application, which you can follow to apply the protector yourself. Please note the following points:
This type of screen protector consists of three layers. The bottom layer is the base layer (featuring the product logo and text/graphics), the middle layer is the scratch repair layer, and the top layer is the hydrogel layer, which provides strong anti-fingerprint properties.
The main steps for application are: cleaning the screen, applying the protector, and removing air bubbles. In principle, the bubble removal process for this hydrogel film is integrated into the application step through the use of the provided squeegee card.
When you receive the protector for your specific iPhone model, you can clearly see the precise cut lines, which match the shape of the front screen. At this stage, you need to use the squeegee card to slowly peel off the rigid plastic base layer (with the product print). Align the protector using the cut lines to fit the screen precisely, while simultaneously smoothing out any potential air bubbles.
This is the most critical step and requires patience. Slowly peel away the outer perimeter film. Although we have performed a secondary cut along the entire outer edge, there might still be points where the film tears unevenly or gets stuck. If this happens, you can gently score the film with a craft knife or try peeling from another direction to remove the outer border. While our testing shows this occurs infrequently, we still advise you to be mindful of this possibility.
